Keep Your Scalp Fresh
Gently wash your scalp when needed using a mild shampoo. Avoid excessive rubbing or scrubbing, as this may create frizz or loosen your braids.
Refresh Your Curls
When the curls start to feel dry, lightly mist them with clean water. You can also apply a small amount of braid mousse to help refresh, separate and redefine the curls.
After styling, a light hair oil can be used for extra softness and shine.
Avoid Brushing for the Best Curl Definition
For the best results, we recommend not brushing the curls if you want to keep their original curl pattern looking defined and beautiful.
You can brush the hair if you prefer a softer, fuller and more voluminous look, but please keep in mind that brushing will loosen the curl pattern and the curls may not look the same as when they were new.
If needed, gently separate or detangle the curls using your fingers instead.
Detangle Gently
Use your fingers to gently separate any tangled curls. Start from the ends and slowly work your way upward.
Avoid pulling, aggressively combing or brushing the curls while dry, as this can create frizz and change the curl pattern.
Washing & Drying
After washing, gently remove excess water and allow the hair to air dry completely.
Avoid rubbing the curls with a towel. If you need to use a hair dryer, we recommend using a cool or low-heat setting.
Swimming & Beach Care
You can swim while wearing your braids.
After swimming in the sea or pool, rinse the hair thoroughly with clean water to remove salt water or chlorine. Allow both the braids and curls to dry completely afterward.
Night Care
Before sleeping, loosely gather your braids and protect them with a satin or silk bonnet or scarf.
Using a satin pillowcase can also help reduce friction, tangling and frizz while you sleep.
Avoid High Heat
